Representatives from the Australian Moto Media travelled to Gold Coast to sample Triumph’s latest version of the highly esteemed Speed Triple 1050RS. The model, which benefits from Triumph’s new 5-way switch cube and TFT dash also gets a healthy dose of tech upgrades with a dedicated track mode and special track settings for both traction control and ABS.

The journalists in attendance had the opportunity to twist the throttle on the beautiful rolling hills of the Gold Coast hinterland and Great Dividing Range as well as on the race track at Morgan Park Raceway. All were overwhelmingly praiseworthy of the "Original Hooligan", and very appreciative to be in the presence of racing great Garry McCoy to show just how fast the stock bike could circulate on Morgan Park’s tight and twisty layout!

Several reviews have already been published online and in print as well including a cover shot in AMCN 68/04 and more are expected in the coming weeks.
